Reuters Licenses RICs
ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT
Reuters has made its Reuters Instrument Codes (RICs) and the Bridge Symbols available for licensing through Reuters Datascope, its data service for the middle and back office. The vendor announced the initiative at last week’s Securities Industry Association’s Operations Conference and Exhibit in Florida.
Reuters says it made the move in response to customers’ requests to use RICs beyond the front office, although officials decline to say whether any clients have agreed to license it. Currently
