OpenFin Eyes Industry Standard Status in 2016

The vendor hopes that open-sourcing its technology will help expand its existing client base.

Currently, OpenFin is used by more than 20 banks, buy-side firms and trading platforms to run high-performance, multi-window HTML5 applications on their desktops. Firms can use the technology to build multiple applications that run on the same engine, or "container," so the applications can communicate and interoperate with each other.
