Standard Life centralizes Data Management around SDS Warehouse
EDINBURGH - Scottish investment manager Standard Life Investments has centralized its business and reference data management as part of a global IT reorganization.
The project is built around a Single Data Source (SDS) data warehouse. The Oracle data warehouse is updated through Standard Life's Information Delivery Architecture on an "overnight, end-of-day, end-of-world" basis, says John Hughes, technology development manager at Standard Life.
