Data Centralization Program Pays Off for Scotiabank

Scotiabank’s Centralized Security Master initiative, which won the Toronto-headquartered firm this year’s title of Best Reference Data Initiative (User) in the Inside Reference Data awards, started in June 2009 in a bid to enhance the management of security master data and end-of-day pricing.

After reviewing the different vendors and completing a proof-of-concept project, the firm selected Asset Control’s data management platform AC Plus, and the system was live after an eight-month long
