After 21 years at Citibank, Ed Berlin will be leaving his post as vice president of global technology support at Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney (SSB) next month. The departure is seen as an amicable parting of ways, sources say. Among his achievements at Citibank, Berlin was responsible for the development of the Quotron trading technology, most of which was acquired by Reuters in 1994 (Trading Systems Technology, April 18, 1994).
