DTCC Creates CDO Role
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has appointed Ronald Jordan to the new position of chief data officer, as the importance of data is growing and the organization expects to be involved in aggregating data for regulators.
The DTCC, which already collects data as part of its business, is planning to become a centralized data provider to help the industry meet regulatory requirements.
In the new role, Jordan will focus on DTCC's commercial and regulatory data business activities
