HSBC Hires Experienced Data Executive

HSBC has hired Lorraine Waters as deputy group chief data officer and group head of data policies for the firm's group data management unit, effective September 30. Waters will be responsible for data policy and governance for the unit, as well as implementation of data management policies and frameworks for the data organizations within HSBC businesses throughout the EMEA regions.

Waters is based in London and reports to Peter Serenita, group chief data officer at HSBC, who is based in New York
