Colas, Rabe Set Up Big Data, Tech Research Firm
The pair of former Convergex research professionals left teh firm earlier this year to start DataTrek.
Before co-counding DataTrek, Colas was most recently chief market strategist at Convergex, where he spent 11 years, prior to which he was director of research at Rochdale Securities, a portfolio manager at SAC Capital, and spent eight years as an equity analyst at Credit Suisse.
Rabe was most recently a vice president at Convergex, where she spent just over three years, prior to which she was a research analyst at Right Blend Investing,
