Abandoning a long-held corporate posture, Telerate, Inc. has decided to enter the electronic transaction business. In partnership with AT&T, Telerate plans a foreign exchange transaction network to compete with the Monitor Dealing Service offered by arch-rival Reuters Holdings PLC.
