ADP Back-Up Site A Lemon; Next Stop: Jersey City

Automatic Data Processing Inc. has turned the page on its proposed North Bergen, N.J. back-up processing center, opting for another site in Jersey City. By moving the planned processing facility, ADP stands to increase costs and delays associated with replacing its beleaguered downtown data center (TST, October 12).
The size of the write-off ADP will take on the North Bergen site isn't known, but TST estimates that well over $10 million has been invested to date.
