It's not surprising that we also mark the first anniversary of the full-blown credit crunch, which has probably exposed the international financial community to the greatest amount of systemic risk since 1929.

It seems a perfect time for the Counterparty Risk Management Policy Group (CPMPG) to release its third report, Containing Systemic Risk: The Road to Reform, which offers a number of specific recommendations to the financial services industry to curb credit risk exposure.
