JPMC and Bank One: A Trading Technology Marriage Made in Heaven?

Not to take too narrow a view of last week’s news, but what will J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) get from its $58 billion acquisition of Bank One as far as trading room technologies?
After a quick review of the highlights of last year, it appears that JPMC could be acquire a lot of interesting technology and an IT management philosophy that supports taking chances with technology. Bank One has also demonstrated a willingness to swap out technology that has long outlived its usefulness, such as
