Bloomberg May Add Equities Bulletin Board Alternative To AutEx

Bloomberg L.P. is considering adding a bulletin board service for equities trades. Like Thomson Financial Services Inc.'s AutEx block trade billboard, the Bloomberg service would carry indications of interest in specific stock trades from dealers to buy-side institutions.

While sources say Bloomberg has put the bulletin board facility on its list of planned equities-oriented services, the service is not at the top of the vendor's list. Bloomberg terminals have long carried indications of interest
