Egenera Expands OEM Partnerships
Late last October, Egenera launched a software line of business to offer customers the ability to run its PAN Manager virtualization software on other vendors' hardware platforms, according to Vern Brownell, founder and chief strategy officer for Egenera.
"This gives us a couple of interesting capabilities," Brownell says. Customers can now use PAN Manager-Processing Area Network (PAN) architecture that combines stateless, diskless processing blades with Egenera's software to reduce datacenter
