Nordic, Baltic Exchanges Make Switch to Inet

The Nordic exchanges-Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Sweden-and the Baltic Markets-Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania-up to now have been running on the Saxess matching engine from OMX, prior to the exchange technology provider's acquisition by the Nasdaq Stock Market (DWT, May 28, 2007). Norway's Oslo Børs is currently in the midst of migrating to the London Stock Exchange's (LSE's) TradElect platform, which is expected to be completed later this month (DWT, Sept. 28, 2009).
