Icap Melding Foreign Exchange Systems

LONDON—Interdealer broker Icap will be integrating its iForwards electronic broking system for forward foreign exchange (FX) transactions with the systems of FX spot broker EBS, Icap officials say.

Icap officials provided preliminary IT integration plans at the same time that they released their financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31. Icap's acquisition of EBS is also expected to be complete this week.

The iForwards platform is used by 71 banks in Europe, the U.S. and Asia
