PARIS—Citigroup, Sal Oppenheim and Fortis have found that computing grids are key to their futures and they are searching for ways to add more computing power to their grids.

The trio detailed their implementation strategies at the Platform Computing European Conference last week in Paris, presenting the blueprints, wishes and the struggles they face while deploying the technology.
