Users will be able to write data queries to the GigaSpaces data grid quicker, as well as change or modify those queries faster, according to Geva Perry, chief marketing officer for GigaSpaces. "With the scripting language, you don't need to compile it or recompile it," he adds.
The new release marks the first major version update since version 6.0 debuted in June 2007 (DWT, June 18, 2007), say officials. Internal developers spent approximately nine months building the new release, they add.
