Financial services software giant SunGard has launched a clearing gateway for the London Metal Exchange (LME), improving clearing performance and efficiency for the exchange, vendor officials announced today, Jan. 11. The Java-based gateway was developed for listed derivatives markets and supports the FIX messaging standard.
