Jefferies Intl. Builds an OMS

LONDON—Jefferies International, a subsidiary of U.S.-based Jefferies and Co., has built its own order management system (OMS) tailored to the firm’s needs and less expensive than the cost of a third-party system, Jefferies officials tell DWT.

Jefferies International’s OMS, dubbed International Position Management (IPM), "does the basic stuff such as position management, order routing, P&L recognition, and it is also an interface to Omgeo Global Oasys," says Franck Sidon, chief information officer
