TSE Welcomes Instinet, But Not Its Technology

After a struggle of more than two years, Instinet, the computerized trading network, has won membership on the Toronto Stock Exchange. However, to join the Canadian exchange, the Reuters Holdings PLC subsidiary has conceded to a six-month interim arrangement that strikes at the core of its usual way of doing business.
