Chase Goes Live With CP's Mix For Government Securities Area

Chase Manhattan Bank has gone live with Phase III of the upgrade of its 35th floor trading room.

Like the 78 foreign exchange desks in Phase I and the 50 municipal bond desks in Phase II, the 65 government securities desks in Phase III are using CP Technology's MFX video switching system. But the July 18 cutover in Chase's primary dealer unit marked the first time the bank has used CP's Market Information Exchange (MIX) digital switching system.

The MIX system at Chase consists of 24 MicroVax II
