Chapdelaine Recruits Dealers For Black Box Trading Post

For Interdealer Treasury Securities Trading Chapdelaine & Co. has shifted the focus of its automated trading system for treasury securities (CHATS) from retail to interdealer trading. CHATS was originally promoted by Chapdelaine as an automated transactional link between primary dealers and institutional clients (TST, March 13, 1989). Now, Chapdelaine has recruited 27 primary and aspiring dealers to use CHATS to trade among themselves. Retail access will come later.
