Vendors, Lawyers Mull PMT As Chicago Hosts FIA Expo

The early signs of market collapse notwithstanding, the Chicago Merc's plan for its PMT after-hours electronic trading system (TST, September 14) was the main topic of conversation at the Futures Industry Association Expo and Kent College Commodities Law Institute, both held in Chicago October 14-16.
Meanwhile, at a meeting with the CME last week, Reuters Holdings PLC agreed to speed up the launch of PMT, possibly in a year instead of 18 months.
