Italian Buy-Side Managers Unprepared for New Regulations

The Italian investment management industry has not fully prepared for new governance rules from the Bank of Italy set to take effect in late June 2010, according to a new survey by fund administrator RBC Dexia.

The new rules require fund managers owned by larger financial firms to establish independent control over their human capital, technology and operations, and to independently price financial products before offering those instruments to clients.
