Survey: Firms Lack Real-Time Surveillance

A recent survey conducted by Progress Software found that more than 50 percent of capital markets firms do not use real-time market surveillance and monitoring tools.

The survey of 125 respondents was conducted at June’s SIFMA Financial Services Technology Expo in New York.

While 83 percent said that increased transparency is needed, only 53 percent have real-time monitoring systems in place.
