Orc Links with Newedge Hong Kong
Global trading technology and connectivity provider Orc Software plans to offer a direct communications link from Chicago to the Hong Kong datacenter operated by futures commission merchant (FCM) Newedge.
The connection will be different from other data link offerings because a server will be located at the destination itself, according to Martin Leamy, president of the Americas at Orc Software.
"You have the execution portion of our software close to the exchange, where it needs to be," he says
