Analyst firm Informa Telecoms & Media tracked 90 communication service providers (CSPs) and their interactions with more than 240 cloud-related service providers. They estimate that they spent approximately $8 billion in their cloud-related pursuits in the first half of the year. The transactions involved 10 acquisitions and 21 investments over the same period, with 80 percent involving datacenters.
