Empaxis Debuts Overnight Process Monitoring Service
Empaxis has released a new service that will allow hedge funds and money managers to electronically monitor systems overnight.
The Overnight Process Monitoring (OPM) service validates processes as successful or unsuccessful and sends reports to the firm itself, or to a vendor, so that the problem can be fixed before the start of the next trading day, says the company's CEO, Stephen Van de Wetering. In some cases, the system can fix the problem itself, he says.
