Markit Evaluates Corporate Actions Service Acquisition
Data services provider Markit has acquired Global Corporate Actions Validation Service (GCA), a corporate actions data provider, from the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).
Markit immediately plans to begin conversations with GCA users to determine if additions of new data sets or regions of coverage are desired, according to Brian Okupski, managing director and product head for reference data at Markit.
