BNP Paribas Selects Swift VAN for T2S Connectivity
T2S is envisaged as a pan-European delivery-versus-payment settlement platform for securities traded within the Eurozone, built and maintained by the European Central Bank. Two providers, Swift and Colt-SIA, have been selected to develop VAN networks, which allow users to connect to the platform. Initial plans for a direct link into T2S were shelved after a lack of interest was expressed by central securities depositories.
