Industrial Alliance Takes Eagle for ABOR, IBOR Integration

Boston-based Eagle provides a range of back-and-middle-office applications.

The firm was an existing client of Eagle, a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, through its use of Eagle's data management platform, but will now migrate to the Access private cloud environment offered by the vendor. It will use the products as a way to integrate its data management, accounting, performance measurement and other areas into an accounting book of record (ABOR) and investment book of record (IBOR) system, and will later take on further Eagle components.

"We decided to extend our relationship with Eagle and implement Eagle Accounting because we clearly recognize the benefit of a single integrated portfolio management platform to support our ABOR and IBOR needs," says Denis Beaulieu, director systems and chief compliance officer at Industrial Alliance Investment Management. "Our next step is to implement Eagle's performance measurement suite that will help us to close the loop on completing a truly integrated exception based operational workflow to support all investment reporting."
