Symphony Moves to Google Cloud

Communication and collaboration platform moves to cloud run by one of its investors.

Google is an investor in Symphony, taking part of a $100 million round of funding in October 2015. At the time, The Wall Street Journal reported Google valued the firm at $660 million.

A Symphony spokesperson tells WatersTechnology the firm also uses Amazon Web Services (AWS). Customers will now have the ability to choose between the two with GCP serving as the default.
