Orc Taps NovaSparks to Cut Feed Handler Latency
Swedish trading technology vendor Orc Software has slashed the latency of market data capture and processing within its Liquidator algorithmic trading engine, by replacing in-house feed handlers with FPGA-based feed handler and data processing appliances from French data technology vendor NovaSparks, as part of an ongoing effort to increase performance for latency-sensitive trading clients.
