Morningstar Names Charlson to Head Alternatives Research
Charlson was previously a strategist on Morningstar's fund of funds research team, and also served as a hedge fund analyst and a senior editor at the vendor's Morningstar Associates investment management division, having started his career with the company in 1990 as a mutual fund analyst.
In his new role, Charlson reports to Scott Burns, director of global fund research at Morningstar.
