III Offshore Advisors installs Digipede Network
III Offshore Advisors, a hedge fund manager, has installed the Digipede Network to power its high-performance financial analytics grid. Digipede Tech-nologies, an Oakland, California-based vendor, will deliver the necessary software to manage compute-intensive applications in risk management and trading analytics. The manager says extra compute power has become essential as it has increased its portfolio positions and extended its traditional fixed income investments to new markets.
