ITG Acquires Societe Generale's Interest In ITG Europe

NEW YORK--Investment Technology Group will acquire Societe Generale's interest in its subsidiary, ITG Europe, upon approval from regulatory bodies in Ireland. The move will allow the technology firm to offer its full suite of products on a global basis.

ITG Europe was founded in 1998 in partnership with Societe Generale. Now, with ITG eyeing aggressive global expansion, it became necessary to pull its disparate operations under one umbrella, according to Raymond Killian Jr., ITG's chairman
