IDD Splits From Parent In Management Buyout, Merges With MLR Publishing

Investment Dealers' Digest Inc. has broken away from parent London-based United Newspapers PLC in a management-led buyout and merger with Philadelphia-based MLR Publishing Co., a mergers and acquisitions information provider. The new company will be known as IDD Inc., capitalizing on IDD's greater name recognition and industry profile, say officials of the new IDD.
