Linedata: Managers to Spend Most on Improving Legacy Systems During 2011

Even though the topics of compliance and risk management have dominated most conversations concerning the New Year, the majority of asset managers will be dedicating "most" of their IT budgets toward improving legacy systems in 2011, according to a recent survey conducted by Linedata.

The questionnaire found that 57 percent of respondents said they plan on updating their old hardware, while 28 percent stated that "most" of their budgets would go toward compliance and 23 percent said risk
