PNT Financial, a Chicago-based trading firm, has linked up with Swedish software provider Orc to support its foreign exchange (FX) and currency market deals.
Orc, which is owned by Nordic Capital Fund VII, will offer the trading firm connectivity through Orc Trader to venues including HotSpot, Fxi, Currenex, ICAP-EBS, FXCM Pro and FastMatch.
"Compared to other systems I have used, Orc is easy to use and the alert functions act like an electronic eye," says Wynn Henricksen, currency and FX options trader at PNT Financial. "It makes it hard to use anything else."
