Thomson Reuters has partnered with Chartwell Compliance, a Washington-based consultancy, for the provision of regulatory compliance, financial crimes prevention and enterprise risk management technology.
Michael Dempsey, global head of alliances at Thomson Reuters, says the partnership will give both firms' clients access to globally-reaching governance, risk management and compliance technology assets.
Chartwell Compliance CEO and president, Daniel Weiss, says he hopes the alliance will enable financial institutions to thrive in the wake of the financial crisis and strict post 9/11 anti-money laundering environment.
