Société Générale Securities Services (SSGS) in Luxembourg has established a center of expertise to serve its alternative fund clients. The center will provide private equity, real estate and tangible asset support.
Institutional investors and other asset management entities that manage these funds, including family offices or wealth managers, will now have a single point of entry to SGSS' range of accounting, trustee, fund domiciliation, fund administration, transfer agent, and registrar services.
According to SGSS, the center ensures that investors benefit from specialist knowledge of the specific constraints associated with these asset classes. A team of specialists from SGSS Luxembourg accompanies clients throughout their investments and provides all the securities services which conform to the international regulations applicable to this category of fund.
Luxembourg is the world's second largest center for investment funds, the European Union's largest domicile for captive reinsurance companies, and the largest center for private banking in the Eurozone.
