The Palo Alto-based $2.0 billion specialist private equity firm, known as STG, invests in midsize enterprise software and services companies, and is set to use iLevel's private capital data platform.
The deal is the latest in a string of iLevel installations with middle-market fund managers and institutional investors, with the vendor having originally focused on a cadre of the largest private equity firms globally.
“At STG, our job is to guide our portfolio companies by creating more value for their customers through innovation, and iLEVEL will enable us to efficiently track key performance indicators across our portfolio, so that we can be stronger partners with portfolio company management teams and offer increased transparency to our investors," says Stephen Henkenmeier, CFO of Symphony Technology Group.
