POODLE stands for Padding Oracle On Downgraded Legacy Encryption

The three researchers ─ Bodo Möller, Thai Duong and Krzysztof Kotowicz ─ released a whitepaper on this new hole known as POODLE, which stands for Padding Oracle On Downgraded Legacy Encryption.
