Pent will drive Confluence's global operations out of London, where he will oversee the company's global professional and client services, business process outsourcing, product development, IT infrastructure and enterprise security operations.
Pent's appointment is a statement that Confluence is committed to the region and a building block for further growth in this particular market, Pent says. "A lot of US companies that want to go global don't really know how the EMEA market works," he adds.
