Bloomberg unveils new portfolio analytics

The new application, known as PSD (Portfolio Slicing and Dicing), enables clients to analyse their portfolios against a set of benchmarks on a post-trade basis.

Featured benchmarks include price/earnings ratio, debt/equity ratio and dividend yield, with additional capabilities to analyse duration, rating quality and convexity for fixed-income securities.

The new release is part of a strategy that Bloomberg initiated three years ago to focus more heavily on portfolio analytics in its product
