Tabb Group sees OMS/EMS spending on the wane

In the recently published research paper by Tabb Group, OMS or EMS? The buy-side perspective on selection and convergence, the New York-based consultancy anticipates that OMS and EMS deployments will suffer as a result of US, UK and European buy-side firms looking to cut IT spending and create a more efficient securities trading process. According to Tabb Group, nearly half of the 178 buy-side respondents are considering swapping their OMS or EMS despite the complexities involved in doing so
