Thomson's 1999 Plans For Portia Include Database And Server Upgrade

ORLANDO, Fla.--Thomson Investment Software gave the 300 attendees at its annual Portia user meeting a sneak preview of the some of the features it plans to introduce next year.

First in line is a Microsoft SQL Server version of the portfolio management software, according to Jonathan Underhill, general manager for Portia. A prototype of the SQL Server version is already in quality assurance.
