Financial Models Revamps Products With Move To N-Tier Architecture

TORONTO--Twenty years after getting its start by providing portfolio management on a time sharing basis to Canadian investment managers, Financial Models is overhauling its product line and business strategy to capitalize upon the buy side's wholesale adoption of the Internet.
As part of this effort, the company is standardizing its applications on an n-tier architecture around Microsoft's Visual Basic as the presentation layer, SQL Server, version 6.5 as the database and DNA fs as the network
