Deutsche Börse Market Data + Services, the data arm of German exchange group Deutsche Börse, has become the exclusive licensor of real-time market data for spot, derivatives and spread products traded on PEGAS, the central natural gas trading platform of EEX Group.
The data covers spot and derivatives contracts for major European gas hubs such as Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany and contains prices for contracts traded within-day, day-ahead, weekend, and individual days gas spot.
The deal will enable PEGAS to take advtantage of Deutsche Börse's data distribution and licensing network, says Georg Gross, head of information, Market Data + Services at Deutsche Börse in a statement. "For our clients, this means improved access to key market data from the pan-European gas market."
